Luvirie’s fruit Italian Mostarda for cheeses and meats (including boiled and roasted dishes) are always handcrafted.

Our rich assortment ranges from traditional varieties, featuring the most renowned Italian spicy Italian mostarda from Romagna and Cremona, to more innovative options such as those incorporating Habanero chillies (“Mangiafuoco”). Sweet mostarda, like “Mostarda Bolognese”, are also available upon request. In every case, our Italian mostarda promise complete satisfaction when paired with cheeses and meats.

It is likely that, in earlier times, cooked grape must (a product of the autumn grape harvest), was used instead of syrup, and the name “mostarda” may derive from “mosto ardente” (burning must).
