Description
The Mostarda Romagnola is a traditional recipe from Romagna, handed down from generation to generation by the region’s arzdore, the expert housewives of Romagna.
Every autumn, our preserve is made by hand using the same traditional methods: the fruit is chopped into small pieces and gently cooked to ensure both flavour and texture in every bite. The result is a quince preserve reminiscent of a cotognata in pieces.
Our guiding principle is total respect for the ingredient, and we use only natural methods. Since October 2010, we have been the first, both in Italy and worldwide, to completely eliminate synthetic mustard flavouring from our spicy Mostarda romagnola replacing it with fresh ginger.
This choice came after countless tests, driven by our focus on seasonal produce and pure ingredients. Following the positive feedback for our sweet mostarda (pumpkin and pear), we are confident that this fully natural, additive-free alternative will be just as appreciated—for its pure taste and rich texture.
