The Colomba is a traditional Italian Easter cake, and our artisanal Colomba is made entirely in our food laboratory (including the processing and candying of the fruit) using only locally sourced products from the Romagna hinterland to ensure the highest quality.
Our Easter Colomba is available in three sizes: 300g, 500g, and 750g, presented in a special gift package with paper, ribbon, and colourful decorations, which can be personalised upon request.
Flavours range from the traditional Colomba (with candied fruit and sultanas) to special versions with inventive and delicious ingredient combinations, such as chocolate and Amarena cherries or caramelised figs and walnuts.

    In this our original Colomba, we have replaced the traditional sultanas and candied fruit of the classic recipe with dark chocolate and Cervia unrefined sea salt, creating a bold flavour that is sweet yet uniquely lightly salted.

    Ingredients: Type 0 soft wheat flour, butter, water, cane sugar, egg yolks, natural yeast, skimmed milk powder, emulsifier E471, egg whites, almond flour, pregelatinised starch, almonds, chocolate, chocolate chips (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin) and Cervia sea salt. Glaze Ingredients: pearl sugar, rice flour, corn starch, almonds, vegetable fat, egg white.

  • Pagnotta Pasquale Romagnola, produzione artigianale Luvirie

    Easter Pagnotta

    In Romagna, the word Pagnotta evokes Easter and the sweet bread traditionally prepared for the celebrations.

    Kneaded with natural sourdough, with a little sultanas added and flavoured with aniseed, it was then taken to the village bakery, as only a few could afford an oven at home.

    Even today, as tradition dictates, it is enjoyed during the Easter period: at breakfast with a boiled egg, sometimes accompanied by two slices of salami and a small glass of Sangiovese or Albana, or during the lunch served alongside lamb.
