Revisiting the Romagna tradition of biscuits, we have created a range of “soft pastry biscuits”: always made with artisanally produced butter and flour from local zero-kilometre mills.
Luvirie’s biscuit line was born in 2014 after moving to a new location and opening a dedicated pastry department, aiming to bring back the typical dry biscuits of the tradition to the palate, while also innovating with new flavour combinations. We always choose local producers for our raw materials (butter and flour foremost, from zero-kilometre sources).
The result is just as desired: a biscuit that remains tender in the mouth, never becoming dry or crumbly, and which we like to call “soft pastry biscuits” because we use only high-quality, local ingredients such as stone-milled flour and artisanally produced butter.
Our careful choice of other ingredients and patient production process have helped us create an assortment of different biscuit types (classic, Romagna-style, sugar-free, vegan), all delightfully enjoyable on the palate to let the flavours shine through. These are also available in a single gift box with an assortment of biscuits.
